I spent three days coming and going to and from St. John's, attending the Provincial Wholesale Show... and came home with lots of beautiful loot from various artists and craftspersons across the island.
Here are a few (reachable) samples from the pile of boxes that will now fill my living room floor until the shop opens in May (can't wait!!!!):

I was very honoured to have been nominated by the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador for one of the four main Atlantic Canada Craft Awards for Excellence by the Craft Alliance, and then awarded this honour at the Atlantic Canada Trade Show in Halifax this past Sunday.
Very pleased to have been chosen for this award that recognises outstanding quality and creativity in design, especially since, in my opinion, all the artisans and craftspersons who have their work juried not only by their respective Craft Councils but also the jury panel who make the final decision on the recipient of this award are just as deserving; to be singled out is certainly a special event!
Recipients for the four industry awards, Excellence in Product Design, Industry Leader/Supporter, Outstanding Exporter, and Outstanding Retailer.

Wonderful Wishes for Happiness and Joy in the New Year!
I've had another amazing year, and am so grateful to everyone who has helped make it so, both business-wise and in my personal life.
I've again experienced many changes, new friends, new adventures , new mistakes, new solutions, new joys, and some losses as well, and find myself looking forward to the new year, excited about what the future holds. I'm not sure that this coming year could be any better than the one that is just ending, but I am certainly going to give it a try.
May happiness find you at every turn!
